What I learnt from my trip to ferrymead

 

I learnt:

• ladies before gentlemen.
• Children should be seen not heard.
• How hard it was the use the two sided saw.
• What the people used to pack on the Ships.
• How they made candles/animal fat.
• You had to polish your shoes because they were expensive.
• You had to do chores For the v huts like scrubbing deck and doing the laundry.
• To heat up the iron you need to put it on a stove or a fire.
• We checked out the optical illusions that the kids used to for art.

                                            Today we made some butter and some bread.                                                      The ingredients for the butter was cream and a pinch of table salt then we shook it up in a jam jar for 5 to 10 minute's. Then we made the bread for the butter. The ingredients for the bread was water flour and butter and then we put those ingredients into a silver steel bowl. Then urmi kneaded the dough until it was ready. Finally urmi put the dough on an oven tray. of course we had to wait for the dough to cook for 30 minutes.while the dough was cooking in the oven we went out to break. after break we had the bread and butter for lunch.                                                                   

Monday mashup

Today for Monday my shop I did gardening with Nigel.                                                                                  My Buddy's where Dylan Benji and me. First we had a half an hour game of Dodgeball.                              Then we went to the garden and planted some plants.I planted about 10 plants and then                          helped putting some more soil into the bins.We would have to take one of the plants                                out put some soil into a little plastic black bag put the plant into a the bag fill it up with soil.
